The Transport Accident Investigation Commission (TAIC) is an independent Crown Entity that investigates the circumstances and causes of selected aviation, marine, and rail accidents and incidents with strong safety and prevention focus. It’s aim is not to find fault or apportion blame, but to identify the causes of accidents and ways that the system can be improved, to make sure that accidents are not repeated. 

Twelve months ago TAIC had just completed an AskYourTeam survey. New CEO Martin Sawyers was keen to address the issues raised, mainly in relation to leadership. TAIC decided to invest in developing its management team and brought AskYourTeam on board to help.

By focusing on developing its leaders, TAIC has seen an overall lift in performance of around 16 per cent, as well as many other benefits. Martin is incredibly pleased with the results so far:
